![]() The reset pusher was not in the crown but at about 2.30 on that one. I’ve only seen one other Helvetia chronostop similar to this but clearly a later design of hands and dial. ![]() The central pusher in the crown at 3 to reset the second hand is a nice feature. The second hand can be stopped by pressing the pusher at 8, leaving the watch still keeping time but with no running seconds. I’m not technical enough to really understand any more than that. It’s clearly marked so an inhouse design. This one is a standard Helvetia 81A movement with a bridge added for the chronostop function which I found fascinating. ![]() I learned from that there were quite a few 10.5’’’ chronostop and chronograph movements like this one but apparently none smaller. I am pretty sure it is from the early ‘30s.
